Feather Fan Primer
Description - this is an introductory class intended for students that have not worked with feather fans, but is also appropriate for students who have done some fan work and need a refresher.

Lesson Focus - The lesson will focus on the basic building blocks for a classic burlesque feather fan act

Goal - Students will leave the class with an understanding of basic techniques that, with practice, will allow them to create their own fan acts.

Learning Objectives:
• hand holds
• common shapes
• techniques for staying concealed
• basic floor work with fans
• making the most of the reveal

Materials Needed:
two(2) marabou feather hand fans
